How to talk like a pirate!

This morning while having my coffee I came across this informative and educational instructional video. Now, we have all been caught in this situation before, when someone greets you with a big "Arrr matie" and you, not knowing any Pirate look like a scurvy dog in the headlights. Fear not anymore. This fine video will give you the knowledge to answer back, "Yarr jim lad, yer jib be trimmed fine this morn". Yea, I have a Klingon dictioary too, you never know!

IROQUOIS MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONCHIPS II

I did a little diddy for BRANTFORD.COM Saturday night at Iroquois mixed martial arts championships at the I.L.A . Quite different than boxing, but just as intense. A bunch of seriously scary individuals. The show was great, and as usual I was at ring side, I hate when that happens.

FUNKTIFIED!

Quite a few people have made comments on this image of Tara and Josh ... is it real ... were they really there? Yes we were there and they were really sitting at the bottom of Webster’s falls! The final product is the result of a preconceived vision of how we wanted the portrait to look. Not all portraits are the same, and not all looks work with all portraits. This one we FUNKTIFIED in the computer and is no different than giving a film negative special development in the dark room. We love the look and more importantly Tara and Josh think so too. The final print was made on Metallic paper and is stunning!

South Carolina!

Ang and myself along with our friend David Kovacs road tripped it down south to photograph a wedding in Columbia, South Carolina. We all wished we had more time down there, what a place. The hospitality was unrivaled, the food great, and the party rocked!

Frozen meat...Why? because I said so!

Some People ask me "why fozen meat D'Arcy"? Well, I might be making a comment on modern society and the distance from the source of all our food we all share, or I might of had a glass of wine with nothing to do and a frezer full of meat! But I will never stop shooting frozen meat because that is what I have always wanted to be when I gow-up, a frozen meat fine art photographer.

Kevin and Lori had their cerimony on the stage of the Sanerderson center for the performing arts. They had the reception and dinner on stage as well. Didn't know you could tie the knot there? well you can...the staff there is great!http://www.sandersoncentre.on.ca/
